Selected work

Every wall does a job. Here's the work doing it.

Most clients come to us with a loose idea — a feeling, a phrase, a brand. We shape it to the space and the culture it lives in. A decade of designing personal art for people made us very good at exactly that.

In wheat country, the harvest became the metaphor — grain passed hand to hand across generations, from native roots to the railroad that carried the county's growth to today's wind-lined hills.
Result
Our largest work to date, unveiled to a crowd at the county's 150th celebration — now a permanent town landmark.

The studio

Two artists. One mind. Every wall.

Divine Hive Mind is Joseph Bwire and Emily Compton-Bwire — husband-and-wife artists who work as a single creative mind. A decade of fine art and tattooing taught us precision with no undo button; murals let us bring that same care to entire spaces and the people who live with them.

You'll find us on the wall together, start to finish — the same two people you talked to on day one.

Good questions

The things clients ask before they say yes.

How much does a mural cost?

Pricing starts at $25/sq ft and scales with size, surface, and detail. Most commercial projects run $3,000–$30,000+. Tell us your wall and budget and we'll give you a firm quote fast.

How long does it take?

Most commercial murals are painted in a few days to a couple of weeks on-site, depending on scale. Because we work as a two-artist team, we move faster than a solo muralist.

What kinds of walls can you paint?

Interior and exterior — brick, stucco, concrete, drywall, metal, and more. We assess your surface during the consult and prep it properly so the work lasts.

Do we approve the design first?

Always. You sign off on a full concept before any paint goes on the wall. No permanent surprises, ever.

Will it hold up outdoors?

Yes. We use professional-grade materials and protective sealing rated for weather and UV, so exterior murals stay vivid for years.

Do you travel for projects?

We do. We're based in California and take on projects regionally and beyond — travel is factored transparently into your quote.
